Yes Chris and I will both be in the chorus for Savoynet's Pinafore in Buxton this year and we can't wait!!

It will be my last Buxton as Sarah-Jane Read which will be kinda weird but also pretty great!!!

THE WEDDING DATE

To anyone who reads this and wants to know.....

The date of my wedding to Mr Chris Hall will be Saturday 12th April 2008 and the venue will be BRMC Church Ipswich.

Torqwert 3 Highlights...

I am now back from Bob and Jackie's 3rd torqwert and I had a brilliant time!! There really are just too many highlights to choose from but I will put the main few here, in no particular order....

• Seeing loads of my friends again and also getting to know a few new people.
• Bob, Jackie and Polly's marvelous food and hospitalitly.
• Being at the qwert with my Chris and getting to sing Cassilda to his Luiz and Phylis to his Strephon, even if we did sicken a few people with our kissing!!!
• Also getting to sing Yum-Yum and act 1 Josepine
• The gender reversal game, (a list of which is in the post below this one), particularly Chris and Sandra Wains almost X rated 'Were I thy Bride' and getting to sing 'I am a maiden' with Sarah and Meriel. (hmm maybe we should reprise that for my wedding!)
• Ian, Ian and Tony's wonderful comic moments, of which there were many!
• Little Tillie entertaining us on sunday night with a few nursery rhymes and some of her own songs ...... That little girl has talent and natural stage presense and is only 5!

Of course there were many, many more highlights but it would take me all day to type all of them!

p.s. If anyone is interested from tonight until Saturday (15-18 November) I am in Ipswich G&S' production of Trial By Jury and HMS Pinafore at the Ipswich Corn Exchange (details at http://www.ipswichgands.org.uk ) Trial is set in the 1970's in a chatshow type setting and Pinafore is set more traditionally, all be it with a few silly cuts and word changes but I won't get started on them.......Both productions are really good, even if I am biased! :)

I'M ENGAGED!!!!

Just a quick post to say that I am engaged to be married to Mr Christopher Hall!!!

It happened about a month ago but I've only just told my parents so am only now able to post about it. surfice to say that I am extreamly happy!!

The wedding won't be for a while yet as I want to graduate from uni first but I'll keep everyone posted.
